"...I can but wait for ever
Watch the seasons passing by
The dragging ice of winter
And the snowflakes in the sky..."

My name is Paul Knox. I am a keen writer of poetry and have been writing all my life. I am 50, and living in Kent, UK with my wife and two stepdaughters.

I am a poet who has been published: (several poems in various anthologies). I enjoy being creative and have a particular love of the classic Shakespearian sonnet form of poetry. I also write music, and create websites for my own enjoyment.

The creation of the Gift a Poem packages also relies on my wonderful wife, who is an expert with graphics and printing, and it will be she who creates the "look" and feel of the unique gift that will become the framed poem. Her eye for detail and sense of proportion and style are second to none.

I even wrote a poem about her...surprise surprise!

My Kentish Maid

So delicate oft in pleasant sunlight waits
As lovely as the blossoms by the picket gate
She is the glory in the summer's garden show.
A fragrance that is heady yet, quite slow
Insinuates into the senses deep
And leaves a memory that this mind can keep
Of wondrous days in warming midday sun
And blissful evenings spent in one to one
And everlasting yet her fragrance stays
Inside my mind supportive in the days
When I am not with her the scent is still
My Kentish Maid, has made me yet fulfilled.
