Mountain Streams
The cold of mountain streams so high above That take the breath when plunged into the deep And numb the feelings like the sweat of love Like standing on the edge of chasms deep And as the streams converge in mutual force The pow'r of each is multiplied so much That nothing can deter their fated course As intertwined they revel in the touch Of sunlight oft reflected in the drops And restful sounds of water running by The motion deep within will never stop Accompanied by this natures symphony There is no fairer place than this to dream Such watery heaven is found inside the stream |
